Dominance on the Mound The story of the game was the masterful performance by starting pitcher, Jackson Fossitt (#17). Fossitt commanded the game through 6.1 innings, racking up an impressive 11 strikeouts while allowing only a single hit and zero earned runs. Easton Hawkins (#12) came on in relief to close the door in the 7th inning, needing just 8 pitches to secure the final two outs and seal the victory. Together, the Leslie pitching staff held Columbia Central to just one hit over 7 innings. Balanced Attack at the Plate While Columbia Central's pitching also racked up strikeouts, the Blackhawks' offense proved more potent, outhitting the Golden Eagles 9 to 1. Leslie's bats were spearheaded by Henry Bradford (#5), who had a phenomenal day at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a triple, an RBI, and a stolen base.
